Mechanically Operated Valves

Kuhnke's mechanically operated power valve selection is available in 2/2, 3/2 or 5/2 valve designs with a variety of operators including plungers and roller lever versions. Some units are equipped with valve operators on both ends and with pneumatic resets.

Valves are available in standard mechanical designs or in air piloted assist versions for low actuation force applications. Valves are constructed from zinc or aluminum die cast and machined bodies. Porting can be with either NPT or Metric threads to meet connection preferences. Mechanically operated valves can be either spool or poppet designs depending on valve selection.

	Plunger Operated, Body Mount By depressing the plunger the valve operates. Used to detect material position or as an end of travel valve. Valve configurations include pneumatic reset types which can be used in conjunction with pushbuttons or other control devices to manually or automatically reset a valve. A double plunger is also available which can be used on machine carriages to reverse direction of travel.
	Plunger Operated, Nose Mount Used to detect material position or as an end of travel valve. Can be used as a door closed switch, material position detector or an end of travel detector. A double plunger is available which can be used on machine carriages to reverse the direction of travel. Air pilot assist reduces actuation force.
	Roller Lever Operated, Body Mount Used as a pneumatic limit switch or position detector. Options include valves with pneumatic reset used in conjunction with other controlling devices to reset a valve. A double roller lever valve can be used on machine carriages to reverse the direction of travel. The compact design is used as a pneumatic limit switch or position detector.
	One Way Roller Lever Operated, Body Mount The One way roller lever valve operates only in one direction. Used as a pneumatic limit switch or position detector.
